AKA: Murdered South African rapper 'designed for greatness' 

The South African who was shot dead in Durban a week ago has not stifled his talent.

Days before his death in what police believe was his targeted murder, the award-winning 35-year-old rapper has dubbed himself the best producer in his genre.

The artist, also known as Supa Mega, sparked a huge discussion by tweeting:
"Statistically, I've produced 90% of all his music, so I'm arguably the greatest South African hip-hop producer of all time."

But in 2014, on Congratulate, one of the hits that cemented his megastar status, he said, "You'll shine like an everlasting diamond, congratulations."

Hundreds of fans, known as "The Megasie," gathered at his memorial service in Johannesburg on Friday, while others followed him online to ensure he continues to shine.
