Makhanya has been in the studio for some time, suggesting the 26-year-old actress may be working on her debut single or album.
Musician and actress Nomvelo Makhanya recently won a SAFTA Best Supporting Actress Award for her role as Ntombi in the Netflix feature I Am All Girls.
She told the Daily Sun that she feels it's still surreal and exciting to win an award, but it's a very exciting time for her and she's very affirmative. It was a moment.
Makhanya also told News24 that she has mixed feelings about her first SAFTA win.
She said, "I have mixed feelings every time I think about it because it justified me and everyone who has a dream. "It validated the decisions made because I was on the right track and everything was meant to happen."
The film follows a special crimes investigator who forms an unlikely connection with a serial killer in order to take down a global child sex trafficking syndicate.
